Knowing fully well that breastfeeding (especially when exclusive) is key to the development of healthy children and immunity against diseases even later in life, we will continue to support all mothers before, during and after breastfeeding so they could nuture their children for an healthy and productive future. Moreso that breastfeeding for longer durations helps space pregnancies, and aid the health and well-being of mothers by reducing the risk of ovarian and breast cancer.
We remain committed to efforts aimed at closing all existing gaps militating against optimal breastfeeding by our mothers.
