We cannot return to the past but we can preserve existing forest and grow new ones, preserve and revive water sources, and bring back our soils.
This year, as we focus on land restoration, halting desertification and building drought resilience systems, let us be reminded that we are a generation that have been empowered with all resources to make these happen. We can by our will.
