As we celebrate the World Humanitarian Day today, we enjoin relevant government, agencies and stakeholders to listen to the voices of the world’s most vulnerable people – in view of the climate emergency that brings about instant consequences of great adverse effects that affect them.
Though these people have contributed the least to the global climate emergency, they are yet the hardest hit. Therefore, there is a need to intervene now as time is of essence for the World’s most vulnerable people.
We are therefore, this way, joining the global challenge for climate action in solidarity with people who need it the most.
We hope the needs of the climate-vulnerable people will be frontally addressed this year and beyond.
